South Omaha Athletics (SOA) is back for the 2026 Spring Football season with an amazing partnership with your 3X NAL League Champions, THE OMAHA BEEF, to bring young players a unique football experience for kids that are in grades K-8th.  Your player is about to have a one-of-a-kind season!

• Every registered player will also receive an  Omaha Beef Season Ticket to attend all Omaha Beef 2025 regular season home games! Parents will have the option to purchase additional season tickets as well at a discounted price. Any additional season tickets purchased will help help provide scholarships for additional players as a portion of the proceeds goes back to South Omaha Athletics.  *Note: The regular season tickets do not include playoff games. Playoff tickets can be purchased at the time they go on sale. 

Season Details:

• Schedule: Practices will start in March
  • Flag (Pre-k through 6th grade) has games until the end of June (games are on Saturdays with some potential Thursday nights)
  • 7v7 (3rd through 8th grade) has games until the end of May  (games are on Monday nights with some potential Saturday mornings)
• Practice Location: Practices will be held at Norris Middle School off of 45th and Bancroft in Omaha
• Cost: All this for only $100! Late registrations after February 1st are $140 so get registered today!

Grade Divisions and GEneral info:

• Flag Football is 5 on 5 football with flags. Flag is played on a 50Lx20W yard field. 
• Flag football is ideal for learning the basics in a safe, non-contact setting.
• Flag Grade Divisions are: PreK/K, 1st/2nd, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th of the Current School year

• 7v7 Football is 7 on 7 football with one hand touch. 7v7 is played on a 40Lx53W yard field.
• 7v7 Football is ideal for sharpening skills in a fast-paced, competitive environment.  
• 7v7 Grade Divisions are: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th of the Current School year

**Please note: If there are not enough players to field a 7v7 team, players will either play a grade up or be moved to a flag football team within their grade level.
